Players start with 200 Attribute points, and 200 character points. Character points are used for everything from Race to skills to equipment. There are several things that go into making/maintaining a character, and you should take the time to know how to manage all of them.

All players will start with 200 points to spend on the four attributes, enough to purchase an average score of 50 in each. Players may purchase more attribute points with their character points. Below are listed the bonuses and negatives for the various races. These are free and mandatory to anyone who has purchased a character of that race.
| Strength | Manual Dexterity | Constitution | Agility | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cizerak | +15 | -15 | +12 | +35 |
| Eridani | +10 | +5 | +5 | +20 |
| Human | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Orion Rogue | 0 | +20 | 0 | +5 |
| Phentari | -5 | +25 | -5 | +5 |
| Python Lizard | +30 | -25 | +30 | -5 |
| Ram Python | +40 | -25 | +30 | +15 |
Attributes may be raised at character creation on a point for point basis using character points, or between games in a two-for-one ratio, i.e. two character points spent equals one attribute raised by one point.
SkillsThere are eight skills available to players, and they are self explanatory. For the sake of less work for me calculating modifiers, you must have skill with a weapon to use that weapon. A level of any skill costs 3 points, and each level increases your chances to hit (or sneak). No player may begin the game with more than five levels of any skill (EXCEPTION: races who have free levels may purchase up to five levels in addition to the free levels).
NOTE: The attributes that affect the given skill are listed in parenthesis, and placed after the name of the skill.A Cizerak is a big cat, similar to the lion of Earth. All Cizeraks encountered will be female, as the males are enslaved. The cats can stand on their hind legs and manipulate objects with their front paws, but they are more comfortable on all fours. For this reason, they usually mount their weapons on their backs, in body harnesses. This means that changing to another weapon takes one entire round, during which the cat can move half the allowed distance.
| Excellent Vision | Movement= 20 squares/round |
| Superior Hearing | Body Points= 7 +d10 |
| Excellent Smell | Natural attacks (1-2/1-2/1-3) |
| 1 Level of Stealth free | Poor agility on two legs |
An Eridani resembles nothing so much as a methane breathing samurai. They are fond of hand weapons, particularly swords, and are skilled at the use of such weapons. All Eridani can strike up to two squares away with any hand weapon.
| Fair Vision | Movement= 10 squares/round |
| Good hearing | Body Points= 5 +d8 |
| Average smell | Natural attacks (1/1/1) |
| 1 Level of any hand weapon free |
That's us. The benefit of being a human is that it's free! You can save all your points to go buy expensive guns and armor. Let the Ram walk around with the .22 pistol, you're taking the auto shotgun.
| Average Vision | Movement= 9 squares/round |
| Average hearing | Body Points= 4 +d6 |
| Average smell | Natural attacks (1/1) |
Orions are basically seven-fingered, pointy-eared humans that like to party all the time. They only run 25 points, since all you're really getting (over a human) is a boost in Manual Dex and Agility.
| Average Vision | Movement= 9 squares/round |
| Average hearing | Body Points= 2 +d6 |
| Average smell | Natural attacks (1/1) |
Phentari are large bi-pedal squid. They have four tentacles in place of arms, and may use two weapons at once with no penalty. They may also attack two targets at once using those weapons.
| Good Vision | Movement= 12 squares/round |
| Good hearing | Body Points= 8 +d6 |
| Poor smell | Natural attacks (1-2/1-2/1-3) |
A python lizard is a large, stupid, wet lizard, apt to run up to things and bash them in, although big guns are an attraction as well. It costs less to "purchase" this race than the Ram Python, but it's not the holy terror that a Ram is, either.
| Terrible Vision | Movement= 7 squares/round |
| Excellent hearing | Body Points= 12 +d12 |
| Superior smell | Natural attacks (1-2/1-2/1-4/1-3) |
A ram python is a larger, more stupid, dry lizard, apt to run up to things and bash them into their composite elements, although big guns are an attraction as well. This race is the most expensive to "buy", but you get the cadillac of hand-to-hand. You won't get much else in the way of guns or armor, but you very well might not need them.
| Terrible Vision | Movement= 7 squares/round |
| Excellent hearing | Body Points= 16 +d12 |
| Excellent smell | Natural attacks (1-2/1-2/1-3/1-3) |
It is probably a good idea to download and print out the RULES AND ARENA MAP file from the "Rules" page. Even though a great deal of information is provided for you in option lists in this form, it was not feasable for us to put everything you need on this page. Therefore, it is also probably a good idea to work your character out on paper BEFORE filling out this form.
Also, any characters whose allocation of points [for attributes, skills, weapons, and armor] does not add up, will be either modified or deleted by the GM. This is because we have lots of people who submit characters, and for us to have to go through each one with a fine-toothed-comb is impossible.
The personal information requested in this form is used only to keep the players and fighters in order, and to make it easier for you to find your fighters. Anyone suspected of providing false information for the purpose of controlling a character other than your own, will be denied future access to this game, and will be reported to the proper authorities.
