Special Notes On Flamethrowers
-Flamethrowers may NOT be reloaded.
-Flamethrowers cover an area of 9 squares, in the following pattern:
-Walls WILL protect against a flamethrower, but only if they lie perpendicular to
the flame's path. I.E. in the diagram above, were the wielder to move forward one
square, the player would be safe, but the square
below would be hit. Note that the wall two squares to the right offers no
protection.
-Duration indicates how long a player may continue to cover an area with flame.
The player must indicate to the GM that he is doing so, and may not move for
the duration. If the target gains the initiative next round, or has not gone yet
that same round, he may leave the area.
-A flamethrower can hit as many targets as are in its area of affect.
